The velvet sunshine? I have this memory in my mind from when I was very young, before I was enrolled in school. I don't even know if it's just the manipulation of my mind or a real memory. However, I'm quite certain it's happened multiple times. Around 5 pm I would wait near our front door for my parents to come home from work and the light would shine through the door. I loved to twirl in dresses in that little hallway and that to me was bliss. I was carefree, with no worries, just waiting. I look back to that time and recall the perfect life. Just twirling around when the sun wrapped around me like velvet. That's how I'd like to describe it.
